my first attempt at oil painting :)
I was just about to say... 'tumne banaaya?'
I have always wanted to draw/sketch/paint, but my fingers refuse to follow a rule.
I liked the composition of the sky, and the vegetation. Its layered, and thus complicated. It also gives it meanings as to what goes on in the painters mind.
The house and the lane that leads to it that you could have done better. Abhi thoda simplistic hai, but it requires a lot of time, which i doubt you have.
Ofcourse its a lot easier to analyse a painting, than paint it. And now i am jealous of you!
the scenery is good...but the structure of the house is way amateurish...bachpan main mai aisa banata tha...
aur abhi bhi...:D
@aakaash: firstly art is abt expressing urself.. it rarely needs someone to follow rules :)
i wud suggest tht u try again.. if u really wish u can.. i bet u can !
hmm and since both u n devil hv brought my attention to it..
i will see if i can revisit the house again n see if i can improve this a bit.. tho i cud end up spoiling it even further.. but wil try it tonite..

nopes, not me..but my elder bro and younger sis...gave...
even though i was one of the favourites of bodkar sir(remember him??skool 3...)
and it will be difficult to do anything to the house without spoiling the painting...
keep this as it is...next one you can try a different design...

And yes am in delhi, gurgaon to be precise. Mausam ka toh yeh hai, ki garmi mein office mein hote hain, toh pataa nahin chalta. Aur jaate jaate raat ho jaati hai.
