Morpheus

Withering wisps of trivialities
enticing games of make-believe
in diminished realities
are, unseen memmories
endless conversations,
in the silence...
of the sleepy slumber.
no boundaries exist,
beneath the myriad colours
but a playground of memories

reflections perceptions askew
revelations realised
awaiting at dawn, for dusk..
in the dark towers of sand
i bid you to my world..

@ravali: Thanks for experiencing it along with reading it :)

here is a little information on
Morpheus - King of dreams

a.k.a Sandman, the creator and caretaker of dreams, is the third "born" of The Endless, after Destiny and Death respectively.
Dream directs and tends the secret lives of sleepers from his palace, which is located in The Dreaming, a realm which forms the communal dream of all creatures.
Dream deals with human beings often, but not exclusively, because cats and other animals, as well as fairies, extra-terrestrials, and even cities themselves do, in fact, dream. A dark, shadowy presence in the minds of humanity, he possesses as many names and forms as there are dreamers.

Odysseus...

Setting sail,
the darkness of the shore
perishes with my slumber.

Web of trivialities
get shaken away from this trance
As I escape in the twilight
I listen to the silence

Horion of myriad colors,
Call me to manifest revelations
Poseidon has other plans
And a storm brews up again...

Some kind of scary movie, eh?
It's nicely done but it's in between gore and normal... perhaps I would have chosen one extreme! :)
